Smartphone Applications Advice
Over the last 12 months smart phones and tablet computers have grown enormously. An important aspect of this computing phenomenon have been the advent of 'Apps' (Applications). One genre of 'apps' are those that have been designed to provide access to host sites (typically utilities and financial institutions) providing convenient access to administer accounts. These applications generally require the input of identifying information such as account numbers and pin numbers. We expect this area of the market to continue to grow rapidly with new players both as developers and vendors of applications.
Roam Express advises that it has not released any applications to date nor have we worked with any developers in this area. Roam Express advises that customers should exercise caution before submitting personal details to an unauthorised third party through any 'Apps' including credit card details.
